Biography

Dr. Allison Momany completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Science in 2021.  She did her internship training at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, MN.  Dr. Momany's dissertation research focused on the role of neonatal morbidities in neurodevelopment, and she has published extensively on the role of pre and perinatal health in the development of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD. Dr. Momany was a fellow in the Behavioral-Biomedical Interface Program and received an F31 fellowship from NICHD to support her dissertation research.  Her current postdoctoral work is funded by a K99-R00 from NICHD.  Dr. Momany also provides clinical training in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and gender-affirming care for LGBTQ youth.
